The American Actress Katherine Heigl has revealed that she and her musician husband, Josh Kelley are turning into pushy parents after adopting their first child , Naleigh from Korea last year.

The 31 year old actress has stated that ,” I think Josh and I started to get like those obnoxious parents that are a little, like, ‘What’s wrong with her? Why isn’t she walking yet? What are we doing wrong?
”The couple got married in the year 2007 in the month of December and they had planned to adopt a child there after, the 27 dresses actress has stated that,” Now we’re, like, pushing her all day: start walking! But I figured we’re probably fine. She’ll start walking. [Then] I’ll be like, ‘Why can’t she sit down and play quietly in the corner.”

“She is starting to talk a little bit more. She says Dada all the time. Of course that was her first word… She points at me and says ‘Dada’ too. She thinks anyone she loves is Dada. I will teach her to say Mama!" said the happy mother.

Betty White has been getting all the attention lately as the feisty old lady we all love, but you know who is also old and awesome? Debbie Reynolds.

The star of Singin' in the Rain and The Unsinkable Molly Brown hasn't been in a feature film since 1998, but apparently she's still willing to go up on the screen once and a while, and it's Katherine Heigl, of all people, who has convinced her to make a comeback.

According to Deadline Reynolds will be playing the role of outspoken Grandma Mazur in One for the Money, an adaptation of one of Janet Evanovich's many books starring the amateur bounty hunter Stephanie Plum. Heigl is playing Plum, of course, and is executive producing alongside her mom Nancy. Heigl said of Reynolds, "Grandma Mazur is such a great character. She's really feisty and the one who's a real mentor to Stephanie Plum. We needed somebody for the part who would speak her mine and even be a little edgy. We approached Debbie Reynolds because she has that 'Molly Brown' as a contemporary grandmother. She's so perfect for the part. Then she read it, loved it and joined immediately."

Jason O'Mara, Daniel Sunjata, John Leguizamo and Sherri Shepherd are already on board to round out the cast, and Julie Anne Robinson (The Last Song) is directing. Coupled with this fall's dramedy Life As We Know It, the film seems to mark a slight shift for Heigl as she leaves Grey's Anatomy and apparently moves on from the romantic comedies that have made her famous.

Her romantic comedy career was seeming pretty short-lived anyway-- she was coming across as more shrill and unlikeable every time-- so maybe an unlikely bounty hunter is exactly the role she needs to get back in our good graces. Bringing Reynolds on board sure can't hurt, though if she only pops up as the grandma who swears and makes inappropriate sexual comments, I'll never forgive Heigl for wasting that kind of talent.

Singer Josh Kelley and his actress wife Katherine Heigl are planning to relocate to Nashville, Tennessee for the sake of his maturing country music career.

The former Grey's Anatomy star has already quit Los Angeles and settled with Kelley and their adopted daughter Naleigh in remote Utah.

Heigl recently admitted she was considering a move to the country music capital after Kelley signed a deal with Universal Music Nashville last November 2009, saying she was "reevaluating" their living situation.

"We don't live in Los Angeles anymore. We live in Utah, in the mountains. Katie rides horses, and I do a lot of fishing... We're house-hunting in Nashville," the Daily Star quoted Kelley as telling US Weekly magazine.But the couple won't be completely settled in the new city. Kelley explained: "We'll probably split our time."

Deadline.com reports Reynolds is now on board.With the star’s track record not being the best — she and Jennifer Aniston seem to be in some bad-movies-to-the-death suicide pact — and the director’s last film was no confidence booster, this does appear to have possibilities.

Ol' Gil Gristle, bearded crime scene muller-over from Las Vegas, has found a new role. Yes, William Petersen has landed his first post-CSI gig and it's an interesting project. He'll play a Vietnam vet history teacher who gets in trouble for showing his class a movie with gay content in Detachment, a high school-set movie from American History X director Tony Kaye. The cast also includes Lucy Liu, Christina Hendricks, Marcia Gay Harden, Bryan Cranston, Adrien Brody, and James Caan. That is a good group of actors. Plus, Lucy Liu! Kaye hasn't done much since X, and his most recent film, the crime drama Black Water Transit (with an equally intriguing cast) still hasn't been released yet. So who knows. All I can say for sure is that if CSI lead actors are doing new projects involving guys named Kaye, David Caruso had better be putting together his long dreamed-of Danny Kaye biopic. Ethan Hawke has landed an exciting post-Daywalkers role. He'll play a violinist in A Late Quartet. Here, read the description of his character: "Hawke will portray the second violinist whose desire for more solos leads him to have an affair with his jogging partner." Oh, yeah, that makes total sense. "Man I want more solos. Guess I better sleep with that person I jog with." That's how you get things done in the music world, guys. "Jeez, my oboe career has really stalled. I should probably blow my optometrist, huh?" It's a fun, always accurate game to play! "Fiddlesticks, no one needs a timpani player this season. Time to fingerbang my son's guidance counselor." And so on.

Over the past few months, under its Destination Trenton campaign, the nonprofit organization has taken on an expanded role in support of local businesses. Its work will ultimately play out on the big screen.

"One for the Money," a movie set in Trenton, and based on the popular Stephanie Plum crime novel by Janet Evanovich, began filming in Pittsburgh on July 12.The association helped make the location appear genuine, with reproduced images of several of Trenton's businesses, institutions and symbols.

The novel, and soon-to-be movie, tells the story of a lingerie buyer turned bounty hunter who grew up in Chambersburg and is in hot pursuit of her first lover, a former police officer on the run from a murder charge.

Once Upon a Time, director Andy Tennant directed a sweet little film called Ever After, a reinterpretation of the Cinderella fairy tale. It was a charming and enjoyable film. That was in 1998. Let’s fast forward with a screech to Tennant’s latest effort, the dismal The Bounty Hunter starring Gerard Butler and Jennifer Aniston. It co-starred the Seaford-Oyster Bay Expressway near my home. It was the best part of the film. Just sitting there thinking, “Hey, I know that stand of trees!” was more entertaining than the horrible script the two lead actors were well compensated for suffering through.Well, Tennant is back, this time teaming with Katherine Heigl (Grey’s Anatomy, 27 Dresses). The pair are working on Adaline, a fantasy about a beautiful woman who hasn’t aged for one hundred years. She meets a man who risks his life to help her regain her mortality.

Which makes me wonder. If she regains her mortality does she fast forward, age and fall to the ground as a heap of dust? Because that could be pretty interesting. Kind of a be careful what you wish for moment.

I suspect this will this be a immortal woman finds soul mate, gives up her immortality and lives happily ever after with previously mentioned soul mate, but lucky for her she’ll still be young and beautiful. At least for the time being. Hey, it could work. But it probably depends on who is cast opposite Heigl and if they can generate some serious on screen chemistry.

That's the official word coming out of Camp Grey's Anatomy today, with the news that TV muse Kim Raver, aka Dr. Teddy Altman, aka "Desert Storm Barbie," has been promoted to series regular. (ABC confirms this news.)So, with this new blond-leading-lady force on board, what does this mean for Katherine Heigl's long-term status at Seattle Grace? And more importantly, what about Cristina (Sandra Oh) and Owen (Kevin McKidd)?

"Katherine is definitely still under contract [with Grey's Anatomy]," one well-placed source close to the series tells me. "But I think it's no secret she wants some time away from Grey's to be with her baby and shoot movies, so bringing on Kim helps with that."

According to sources, Kim will appear in all but one of the remaining 12 episodes of the current season. An ABC source said they don't have an exact episode count yet for Katherine's remaining episodes this season. If Katherine were to exit the show after her contract ends, I'm told Kim is expected to stick around.

"The producers and ABC execs love Kim," one insider tells me. "They are invested in her for the long haul."

The good news? I'm told the producers and writers also love Cristina with Owen, so you Crowen fans needn't worry too much about Owen's old crush Teddy sticking around.

According to one Grey's source, Kevin (Owen) and Sandra (Cristina) are still shooting romantic scenes together for upcoming episodes, and getting along famously while doing so.

"They were shooting a scene recently," one eyewitness tells me, "and Cristina kept laughing because Kevin had just had his hair dyed a little more red than usual. She kept saying, 'It's so distracting!'"

Now that is some red-hot romance. Hee.

Katherine Heigl is seen by millions every week portraying Izzie Stevens on “Grey’s Anatomy,” but Access Hollywood got a look at a lesser-seen side of the actress when we visited her as she worked to help give some dogs loving homes.

Heigl and her mother, Nancy, teamed up with Pup My Ride, an animal rescue program from the Best Friends Animal Society, to rescue a host of beautiful, healthy dogs from shelter life.

“Over 600 dogs have been saved and adopted,” Heigl told Access Hollywood.“. Up in Utah and Arizona and some of these states around California, they have waiting lists for small dogs, people wanting to adopt and here we have an overwhelming number in the shelters,” Heigl said.

As a result, Best Friends drives the dogs, which would otherwise be put down, to new, out-of-state homes.

“Today is the transport day,” Heigl smiled during Access’ visit. “I think [the dogs] are either excited or terrified. I’m not sure.”

Animal lover Heigl, a serial doggie-adopter, hinted she was tempted by the animals’ little faces on moving day. When asked how many dogs she’s taken home over the years, Heigl revealed she has six.

“I think my husband’s ready to kill me,” Heigl said of her husband of one year, Josh Kelley. “But you know what? The last one was his idea.”

Kelley was compelled to take the sixth one on when he and Heigl found a puppy in a trashcan in Mexico. “Someone had literally thrown him out, and he was

probably at the time, three or four weeks old,” she said. “He was just this teeny tiny, fit-in-the-palm-of-my-hand, and Josh said, ‘I think we should take this one home,’ and I said, ‘OK! I’m dying for a puppy.’ But now I cam blame him for it too. I’ll be like, ‘This puppy was your idea, you get up with him at 7!’”

Neither Heigl or her mom, Nancy, were afraid to get their hands dirty when Access visited the women as they helped pack up the pups.

“I don’t have to go into work until late,” Heigl said, referring to her day job playing Izzie Stevens on “Grey’s Anatomy. “I’m gonna have to shower though, before I go back to my scrubs.”

On the set, the “Grey’s Anatomy” star is entrenched in a challenging storyline. Her character Izzie’s boyfriend Denny – who died at the end of the show’s second season – has returned from the grave, seemingly as a ghost, and only Izzie can see and hear him.

“I am… struggling to make sense of it,” Heigl said of the latest twists and turns for Izzie. “It’s very hard to relate to.

“Who is she talking to?” Heigl continued, referring to Izzie’s conversations with Denny. “Does she know he’s dead? You know… It’s hard to make the material as honest as I’d like it to be and that’s my biggest challenge right now…If he’s a hallucination then something’s

wrong with her and she’s a doctor and should know that, right? Unless she’s in massive denial, which is kind of what I’ve been trying to play, and if he’s a ghost, then we’re doing a whole other show.”

Grey's Anatomy star Katherine Heigl rescues 33 dogs co-star of “Grey’s Anatomy” teamed up with Best Friends Animal Society this week to rescue 33 small breed dogs from overcrowded animal shelters in Los Angeles. The rescue was part of a nationwide program called “Pup My Ride.”

The Pup program removes small dogs that have been abandoned and turned over to large city animal shelters. The pups are taken to communities where there are too few “little canines”; and adopts them into loving new homes. The 33 dogs rescued this week were transported to Salt Lake City where the demand for little dogs is very high.
